Good afternoon, Heroes Families!  This is Mrs. Autobee with your weekly update.

Please remember to set your clocks back one hour as of this morning.  This gives you an extra hour to sleep in on Monday morning!

Monday Nov 7th

*Our first home boys varsity basketball game against Craver Middle School. There will only be one game that night at 5:30. Students who would like to watch the game must go home after school and return to school at 5:30 and must have their rides here to pick them up promptly at 6:30. Students can get into the game for $1 with a Heroes shirt. All other students can get in for $2 and adults are $4.


Wednesday, Nov 8th

*Prayer at the Pole 8:15 a.m.

*Pickles and popcorn for sale after school for $1.00 each

*Boys Basketball Game at Swallows Charter Academy at 4:30

Thursday, Nov 10th

*Home boys basketball game against Corwin. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity plays at 5:30.  Students who would like to watch must go home after school and may return to school at 4:30. Students must have their rides here to pick them up promptly at 6:30.. Students can get into the game for $1 with a Heroes shirt. All other students can get in for $2 and adults are $4.

*Pride and Patriotism Celebration at Memorial Hall 6:00 p.m. Admission is free, but you must have a ticket, which can be picked up at the District Administration Building.  See a creative artwork collage from all the schools and hear patriotic music.  Congratulations to Leila Ruyle for her 2nd place essay.


Friday, Nov 11th

*Fellowship of Christian Heroes Meeting in Room 115 at 7:45 a.m.

*Pickles, popcorn, and jerky for sale after school

*Pantry Food Pick Up at 3:00 p.m. for all Heroes students and families


Please mark your calendars for the Teachers and Parents of Heroes Academy, our parent-teacher organization, meeting on Monday, November 14th at 4:00 in the Media Center.  Also, fundraiser orders will be delivered next week.  As soon as we know the exact date, we will let you know.
